Hotel to Airport Shuttle
If you arranged for a roundtrip airport shuttle, you will be picked up in the hotel lobby approximately 2 hours before your departure.
Please have your luggage ready.
Departure Checklist
The St. Thomas airport is approximately 15-20 minutes away from the Westin at Frenchman’s Reef. There are a few steps that you need to complete before you board your plane. These include:

Island Tour Departure Shuttle
Island Tours suggests guests be ready 2 hours before their flight. Shuttles will run every 30 minutes the rest of the day to get guests to the airport. If the shuttle is at capacity they will send another shuttle ASAP to the location.
Checking In With Your Airline
Airline check-in occurs outside at the airline counters. You will need to obtain your boarding pass and check in any of your large luggage here.
Customs
Once you have obtained your boarding pass you and your luggage will go through Customs. The Customs Officer will likely ask you a few questions - about the purpose of your visit and if you are bringing any items home with you.
TSA
After you have cleared customs, you will drop off your checked luggage with TSA so that it can go through screening. You will then proceed through TSA screening. They do have Pre-Check at the airport, as well as the regular TSA screening line.
Once you have made it through TSA screening, then you are in the waiting area. The waiting area contains a few shops - such as a perfume shop, a coffee shop, a duty-free store, a gift store and two restaurants. You will remain in this area until your flight boards.
