At the 2023 Conference, we were proud to partner with Camera Mundi, Lakeshore Learning Materials and Teaching Strategies to unveil the Head Start Classroom of the Future!
This interactive exhibit showcased Innovative Interest Areas for the Head Start of the Future: The What and the How of Teaching for the Future
The Classroom of the Future was designed to be a transformative learning experience where attendees gained valuable insights into how the physical environment impacts engagement levels and acquired strategies to design compelling learning opportunities that cultivate children's process skills.
Featuring both an indoor and outdoor area - the Classroom of the Future engaged attendees - with hands-on learning sessions conducted in English and Spanish. In addition to being coached by industry-leading experts, participants also were able to explore the core elements of The Creative Curriculum®, while discovering innovative ways to foster inclusive education for all children. Attendees were also provided instruction on how to develop the proficiency to seamlessly incorporate technology into physical environments, augmenting content-based learning experiences.
 Objectives:
Participants will gain insights into the correlation between their physical environment and its impact on fostering engagement.
Participants will acquire strategies for designing compelling learning opportunities that cultivate children's process skills.
Participants will discern the core elements of The Creative Curriculum® to foster inclusive education for all children.
Participants will develop the proficiency to seamlessly incorporate technology into their physical environments, augmenting content-based learning experiences.
We would like to thank Camera Mundi, Lakeshore Learning Materials and Teaching Strategies for their leadership and for providing the materials, experts and support to make this very special exhibit happen!
